Thanks B and club NoCo for all the effort to pull together such a fun event. It was nice to get out and see everyone and get to play with great individuals. In the past I have been turned-off a bit by players taking things so seriously (myself included)it ends up being kind of a drag to play events. Maybe its the non-sanctioned/fund-raising element that helps people just go have a good time. I had a great time. Fun to be in groups where the playas were playing great golf while maintaining professionalism in their attitudes. Pat, Sean, KC, Brandon that to me is maintaining the spirit of the game that we enjoy so much. Good stuff The dark-side to competition is when players think their strength is in other players weaknesses and then the player-hatin vibes get rolling and it can be quite toxic especially to newcomers. The true essence of competition is wanting other competitors to play their best, then victory has a sweetness to it. Actually then just playing has a sweetness to it. Thanks guys I've got to agree that the energy and camaraderie that you have in your groups can make or break a tourney round or even an entire tourney. YOU are one of the best examples of how to act and react during a competitive round of disc while maintaining the fact that the point is not only to win but to have fun. Always a pleasure Dougy Fresh!!!

It's true... although Doug is known to occasionally assault the competition and shake them like a ragdoll when they get out of line! Only when it's deserved of course. Good man.

I agree, Doug never blows up and always just has fun out there. He's kept me in line in a few tournaments...
