Hello everyone, just signed up as forum member. My name is Jonas(yup, just like the song:) i've been playing disc golf since i was a kid. I've mostly just played Edora, but have also played the ex-csu, fchs, chimney in windsor, and a couple in denver. I've really only played easy with friends but would like to compete more. A couple of questions about the play on sunday's. I read the board at edora, it states 4 or 5 dollars on am or pro. I would say i score -5 to +3 in my range of play, where does this put me? I would think am, but i love to compete, so i don't mind loosing to get better. Does the 4 or 5 get paid at the park when everyone shows up, or do i need to pay in advance somewhere? And then last, what time does everyone show up? Thank you for any help you have, hope to see you all there. And if you have any other info that might help, i'd love to have it.

We typically meet at 1030 and begin play around 11. You pay when you show up. We meet at the old practice basket around hole 1. You should maybe start at am and see how you do and if you keep winning then move up. Competitive play is totally different, whether it's a tournament or just leagues. Leagues is a great way to learn the basic rules. There is also Tuesday nite leagues which usually has a better showing. In a month or so we'll be having tuesday summer league which is how I got started. It's really cool because you are tracked for the whole summer and then there are awards at end of season. Look forward to a new face and competition. Jeff S
