hello all, as of next month we will be rotating Sunday leagues to allow for some variety and to take a little pressure off of Edora, seeing as how it is the most crowded course in town. This weekend is Grateful so no worries about this until next sunday, KC and I will be putting together the schedule and posting it at the course and Wright Life to get the word out. At this point, we are going to play Edora the first Sunday and probably Sundance the last Sunday and will figure out the two in btw days, probably Boltz and FCH, but there are other possibilities. Stayed tuned...

For those that have not heard, we will taking FoCo Sunday leagues to Sundance this Sunday. We will be meeting at 10ish at Edora and then we'll caravan up there. For those that have never been, its about a 45 minute drive, and green fees for one round are $3 I believe. Check the link on the ncdgc front page for pricing and directions if you just want to meet there. We will be shooting for an 11/11:15 tee off. They have food available at the lodge for a small fee, and is generally a good deal of food. The number 1 tags may be making an appearance as well...
oh, yeah, and a $101 ace pot. ;D

Just wanted to throw the suggestion out there that there is another 18 hole private course that can be used periodically for league play. I think most of you on this board know the course I'm talking about. About the same drive time as Sundance, so a similar set up as last week, with car-pooling and such, would be best. Just wanted to put it out there and see what the response would be. I think it's a super fun course, but I might be biased... ; ]

That would be fun, Wes. I've been wanting to check that one out for awhile.
Can we avoid going up there the weekend of the 16-17th? That's when High Plains Challenge is. Maybe we could play it the week we normally play FCHS (June 10th), since that course is pretty busted up right now.

That may be a bit soon KC. Jon and I still would like to do some additional improvements (hopefully within next couple weeks). I'm thinkin more along the line of 1st or 2nd week of July. Just need to retool the first nine baskets we made and get some tee-pads in shape. I'll let you guys know. On the other hand if no one minds playing an "under improvement" course, we can certainly do it sooner.

Okay, so I'm trying to figure out how to post scores, but don't know how to put a spreadsheet in a message w/o everthing moving around, any suggestions?
As for this Sunday, the locale is kind of up in the air, we could play FCH, but we would need two baskets now, I can bring one, if we can get another then it could happen, or we could do something else, suggestions welcome.
Also, somebody who is not playing HPC next weekend and Aspen the last weekend of this month that can run Sunday leagues would be greatly appreciated, if not, we will have to just skip leagues those Sunday's, b/c I will be out of town.
Thanks.

I can bring a basket again.
I think I liked playing fchs more than edora last month, so I'd still be down to play it. I haven't been out there for awhile, though, so I don't know the condition of the course.
Not sure how to post spreadsheets, but it may not be a capability of the forum. Another option would be to turn the spreadsheet into an image file, then post it that way. Might end up being too small, though.
As you know, I will be at both of those tourneys, so I cant help those weeks.
Anyone want to help cover Sunday League while B is out of town?

We voted to take sunday leagues to Estes Park this Sunday, June 24. We will meet there at 11:00 and tee off shortly after. If you want you can just meet out there, or if you want to find someone to carpool with, you should meet at Edora around 10. I will try to be there at 10, but my car may be full already, others wanting to carpool should meet up here. Directions: take 34W all the way to Estes Park, travel into town and take a left a the main downtown light, don't know street name, go down about a half mile and take a right, there should be signs at this point to follow to the YMCA, where the course is. The road will fork and you will want to go left. I will try and get some better directions, if not we can all follow each other there.

Hey all,
I am willing to run Sunday league this week, since I'm in town. Since it's the second week of the month, FCHS would be the course for this week.
Word is that all but one basket is there, and I have an extra one to use for that hole. If anyone has any info to the contrary, let me know.
So... Sunday league is on this week! Be at FCHS, hole 3 (north-most parking lot) at 11:00 or earlier. Be ready for a fun and challenging, Safari back nine to complete the 18.
See you there...
KC
