I am going to be meeting with the city in the next few days to plan the re-postitioning of #13 & 14's tee pads to accomodate the new sidewalk being installed in the very near future. Bill Wright is going to be notified to plan for Grateful and the current tee pads for these two holes will be removed and replaced in the next few weeks I think. As far as #13's pad, it will be moving towards #12's long position (the pin that is across the road in those trees) about half the distance that seperate them now. #14's pad is most likely going to be shifted up and to the right near the green box about 50' from where the tee is now. We are going to try and plan for the tees to be away from utilities that may need to be accessed and at a place the pads can be fairly flat. These new tees will most likely be marked with spray paint in the next week or so. I plan on meeting Bill out there at some point to discuss and plan. Thats the latest, I will update frequently.

Things are up in the air as for the future of holes 13-16. The city is going to have an in-house meeting a week from tomorrow and we will know more by then. Leanne from the city is going to bat for us trying to get us the best possible solution she can for the dis-array of the course. Anyone with keys to the baskets please don't put #12 long and leave holes #14, and #16 where they are so they don't get damaged or pulled by the construction crew. They are working out there as I type and will hopefully be done with the sidewalk in the next few weeks. holes #13 and #14 are officially closed to play until the construction is complete, Leanne is going to post signs at the kiosk at the practice basket and on hole #12's tee sign. Leanne is going to try and get the ok to put 6,7,and 8 back in, in the next few days. I will know more by Friday afternoon. Sorry to all for the craziness and the changes. After everything shakes out I am hoping we will have a better course than before. There is some new Railroad land and some other considerations in the works for more/other holes. More later

Thanks for keeping a finger on the pulse for us, Doug. Also, thanks for sharing the info on the forums so everyone knows whats going on. I think alot of people will appreciate that.
With 14's tee, can we keep it nearish those trees, so maybe we can get some shade. I don't know why, but I always feel the sun the hardest waiting to tee on that hole.
Again, way to go Doug

Since the concrete guys will be there, does that mean we'll get our tee pads poured for the two alts, or do we want to try other locations? I personally like the two set ups.

the two alternate holes are outside of the scope of the sidewalk project. I hear ya on the shade KC the 2nd alternates tee-pad may be problematic due to the abuse the first spruce tree on the right is taking. If you look at the ground about 80 ft in front of the tee there is carnage from that tree being hit. I think it might help to put the basket in the left position for a while and see if that doesn't help. If anyone is feeling like installing some sleeves I will know if we can pour 6,7,and 8 tomorrow. Unfortunately I will not have time to install them myself until late May. I got the tools if anyone is feeling ambitious.

Hole #13 will be unplayable, Hole #16 will be a little iffy too, shooting towards the construction and #14 will be at least modified because the tee pad is/will be gone. Bill will mastermind some kind of artful continuity I am sure. I am going to meet with Bill this afternoon and will post info as I become aware of it.
