I think there were over 50 people. The new course is interesting....not sure if I like it yet. A ton more walking, but I guess it had to be done. Garret

Actually there isn't much more walking on the new layout. I think people don't realize how many walks there are on the current layout, because they are so used to them. The new layout has a long walk to get back to the parking lot after you finish hole 18, but other than that there are only 3 other medium length walks between holes (new 4 to 5, new 13 to 15, new 17 to 18). The current layout has about 4 medium length walks between holes. (2 to 3, 4 to 5, 5 to 6, 11 to 12). The walk at the end kinda sucks, but overall I think the course flows at least as well as the current layout. Keep in mind that this wasn't really a layout we wanted, per say. It was the best design that we could come up with, given all the restrictions that the city is putting on it. It's basically a compromise, just to be able to keep 18 holes in that park. I heard that the Condor flew to victory... something like -13 with 6 mulligans. I wasn't there. I was sick.

Thanks, Evan. Man, I'm tired of hearing about compromising (speaking in general, not just this). Thanks for everyone's hard work trying to accomodate the City. I'm sure it was no easy task, and if weren't for you folks we wouldn't be getting anything done! Thanks again, and keep up the hard work. Way to go Condor (even though you never check this)!!!!!!
