Ok tag No. 1 will be up for grabs tomorrow morning at 8 am playing the layout suggested below. Playing early to avoid issues playing across/into other groups.
Alright, a few weeks ago I was playing on google earth looking at the course when I decided to lay out a 9 hole monster course. Acc to PDGA standard for blue tees it would be about a par 36 9 holer.
It was played mostly doubling holes, as followed (on the lay out before baskets moved
Hole Plays as par ~feet acc google earth ruler
1 3tee-9 4 632'
2 5tee-8 3 373'
3 6tee-7 4 690'
4 9tee-3 4 563' (with baskets moved, I would change this to hole 10 basket
which would be about the same hole)
5 10tee-11 5 764'
6 12tee-13 4 671'
7 14tee-15 4 566'
8 16tee-17 3 453'
9 18tee-1 5 791' (with baskets moved, I would change to hole 3 basket, it
would be more open but longer)

Ok, I'll bite...
I'll meet you out there at 8, holding tag 8, so if anyone wants to jump in on the match you'll have two chances at top ten. My money is on Schleich, if he shows, since he's the master of the dawn patrol rounds. You gonna make it out, Jeff?
This sounds like a fun layout, and the holes flow together pretty well. We'll see how the shots look from the tees. I've played a few of them before and for the most part the shots are pretty clean.

This was fun, layout was interesting. Good new challenge, we saw some good shots made. Will probably play this layout again. Hopefully we can get some more people out sometime.

Yeah, this was super fun. Patrick was one stroke behind coming into the last hole, but pulled off a miraculous eagle three on 18tee to 3's basket to defend number one tag. Let's do it again sometime. I talked to some others who said they would have gotten in on it had they known about it further in advance.
Sometime this week, maybe? Another early morning round, so as to avoid any conflicts with other course users?

Maybe next week for me, I am heading off to AZ for the weekend tomorrow. I am not sure how miraculous that 3 was. Being a drop in and all ;-)
I am free every morning monday-thurs to start a round between 7-8am. If you post playing some time in that frame, I will likely be able to come. I am interested to see how a couple more pin's moving will effect the course. 12-13 will be a monster. Harder 3 than 18-3, and I would consider it harder than 10-11 as well.

I am not sure how miraculous that 3 was. Being a drop in and all ;-) Yeah, you're right. If you were 60' short and canned a big jump putt it would have been more dramatic. But a drop in on that hole is neat, considering you had it estimated at 791' or somethin. Maybe it seemed fancy since I was hacking through the trees at the time. |

would anyone be interested in doing this more regularly? I know KC said a couple guys sounded interested. I will be free to start doing rounds like these every monday morning, or possibly a different morning if it works better for the rest.
Hopefully we can gain some interest, its a fun way to mix it up.

I would be interested I could play most weekday mornings except Friday (weekley 9am business mtg), played a couple safari holes last Sunday morning with a few other club guys, #12 tee to #13 basket, and #14 tee to #18 basket. took a circle 6 and a 5 but still won tag #6. Was a ton of fun

13-18 thats quite the monster hole. 4 would be a great score for that one.

I also was. I will be there 8am tomorrow (monday the 12th). Hopefully some guys will make it out. Baskets have been moved again. 10-11 is going to be even tougher. . . and 12-13 will just be awesome.

Actually my work schedule changed and I work earlier. We will have to do it at 730, I work at 10:15
