Maybe you know, maybe you don't, but live music is my other main interest. I figured I'd just start up a thread on that topic to post upcoming shows, etc.
Tonight: The Motet
These guys are bad**ss! Very eclectic, lots of variety and really talented. Check em out if you can, they're playing at the Aggie

Hey man, Very into live music myself. Motet does kick **s. Very surprised you haven't had any replies on this post. Could be the low traffic on the site. More promotion for site maybe? Anyway if you should get the chance I'd highly recommend Steve Kimock and his boys down in Denver this Saturday ( the oriental theatre i think). Very rockin jazz/funk/blues/rock/jam infusion. Good stuff. Take it easy!!

Augustwes,
Great screen name!
Don't think I'll be able to get out to the Kimock show, going to be pretty busy getting things ready to go Sunday morning for the Meltdown tourney at Edora. If you can make it back, it's gonna be a really fun, laid back tournament. I know it's early for the day after a show, of course!
Yes, more promotion for the site is in the works, as well as many other improvements. Time is always difficult to come by, unfortunately...
See you out at the course sometime
KC

KC, Yeah i'll be out for the Meltdown. Don't look like i'm going to that show either. Still gonna be early tomorrow though, what with St paddy's day today and all. Anyhow, we'll see you tomorrow for a (hopefully for me) blasty day. p.s. Jon Y and I were talking of ways to help promote this site and create higher traffic and get it out there more to the more casual players. Maybe we'll talk with you a bit tomorrow.
Take it easy, Wes

Gotta love live music!! I suggest Planet Bluegrasses Telluride Bluegrass Festival and/or Rockygrass(Lyons, Co). Both of these are incredible shows, I prefer Rockygrass due to it's chill and cozy venue. When you go in you walk into a big open field where the stage is. To your right(facing the stage) there is a nice lazy river you can cool off in or hop a tube ride down. Good times and Good Music make a man feel ALRIGHT!!!!!!

Gotta agree with ya cracker......never been to any of these fests, but have had many occasion to listen to boots of the shows. Really hopin to hit one or all of these shows in the very near future, (gettin rid of a wife offers me MUCH more free time to pursue pertinant interests), maybe this summer if a little luck will hit me. Also hopin to catch YMSB at red rocks this year, again with a little luck. I think i'll pretty much check out any live Blue/Jamgrass any chance i get. Anyhow, take it easy and maybe i'll catch ya at some shows. Back to checkin out my Salmon boots ; ]
Peace, Wes
