Having been blown away with how fun and cool this course was when I passed by it last month, I'm considering going out to play this tournament on July 25th. Its a one-day, C-tier event with a very affordable entry fee. The drive is not too far, relatively speaking, at around 5 hours. And I had a blast playing with the nebraska folks in Lincoln earlier this season (although I shot pretty bad overall). Did I say this course is badass? I wish we had this course in Colorado. Road trip. Who's down? Could probably even squeeze it all into Saturday as it's kind of a late start. www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=390nebdiscforums.yuku.com/topic/2777/t/Kearney-Classic-July-25-C-Tier.htmlKC

How long is the drive? Is there places to stay? Can you camp? Let me know.

Kearney is about a 5-6 hour drive out I-80. The course is sick, but that's a long way to go for a 1-day tournament. Patty and I are going to play a doubles tournament at Beaver Ranch (Conifer) on Saturday instead. Doubles is always a fun time... consider playing that... and then still being back around for Beaver Meadows States Warm-Up on Sunday!

What Evan said, minus the doubles on Saturday part, is my plan.
I want to go out there sometime, but it might just be next year at this point. I'll be up in Red Feather on Sunday, though! Can't wait!
