Hello, folks - Joe Wander here from Disc Golf Live video magazine. As you may know, I produce a disc golf themed TV show for broadcast on local, community, and public access TV stations across the country. I had a contact going for awhile in Ft. Collins and the show was being broadcast at your local station (http://fcpan.org/index.htm). A few months ago, my DVD came back in the mail w.o a forwarding address. So, I'm hoping there's someone else in Fort Collins who would like to get joined up at the station and submit the program DVDs I send out. I send them out at no cost and it's easy to get involved at the station. Colorado's own Mike Randolph (we claim him in Michigan, too) makes a big splash in the latest episode (#28) during coverage of the CCR Open in Lansing, MI. (He deuces every hole we taped him on and nearly bagged an ace as he dueled with Al Schack down to the wire for the title.) Each show is one hour long and new shows come out every two months. Anyway, if there's someone in your club who would like to help promote the game locally, give me a shout. As I said, program DVDs are free to my broadcast partners so don't let that hold you back. And I accept material from all over for my show, so if there's a video guy out in CO who has some footage and an interesting story to share, let me know! And for folks in other communities with a local TV resource, we're happy to set you up with our shows as well. More at: www.discgolflive.com. Take care, Joe Joe Wander Producer and Editor Disc Golf Live video magazine Hear folks say "I saw disc golf on TV!"

I got in touch with Joe and will be recieving the videos in the mail soon. Pat, did you fill out these Program submittal and Statement of Compliance forms for every episode? I'll get a post up of when these will be aired as soon as I know. Thanks again, Joe:o)!! And Chad, do you want to get some of your videos on FCPAN? I think you should, cause they rock! Some good old school footage from local courses and local blasters would be a great mode for publicity. Something to think about. If you don't have time to take it to the office let me know and I'll meet up with you to get it there.

Look for those DVDs in a few days, Jeff. Thanks again!
Pat, I hope all is well. I hadn't realized you were still in the area (just found this site a week or so ago...) I didn't have an email for you and am shut out from my PDGA PM messages while my membership is being processed. Anyhow, sounds like we've worked out a way to keep the show on the air.
Take care everyone,
Joe

Joe!! Sorry my friend I moved...new address is 145 N. Whitcomb St., Fort Collins, CO 80524. And yes Jeff you have to fill out that form for every video you submit. The guys address is on the FCPAN web-site you just drop off the DVD and form in his web-site. I would be happy to keep doing this Jeff if you don't want to
Sorry about that Joe!

Jeff and Chad, I did talk to the guy from FCPAN about putting Chad's vids up there and he was concerned with the copyright laws for the music on the vids. If we can get the Beastie Boys approval then we're in

Pat - no worries. I know CO is too nice a place to leave...just didn't really have a good way to reach you. (I guess even cyberspace has a few wrinkles...) Sounds like your station is easy to work with. The shows are on their way to Jeff, we'll juggle addresses down the line if we need to, its good to have back up!
When you guys get some interesting footage, just let me know and we'll get something into an episode. Let me know when you hear back from the Beasties!
Stay well, all.
Joe

Thanks, Pat. I remembered watching that one back when we were first setting you guys up with DGL. I could easily drop some alternate music over the video and throw in a few basket sounds to re-work it for broadcast if that would help. Hopefully there's an uncompressed version of the file floating around somewhere. Makes a nice 5 minute tour of the course. I could easily drop some calendar info in as well to plug some upcoming events in your region, for example.
You guys need to cut your fairways. My rollers wouldn't be happy in that long stuff...
Joe
