Hey I see the September monthly is planned for the weekend of the 20th... There are now two sanctioned events going on in CO that weekend... would another weekend be a better option... like maybe the weekend after that one... when only a few ams will be gone to CO states in Grand Junction? Just a thought.

Not a bad idea.
We had talked about working with Garrow to see if he wanted to run the Choice City Challenge again and have that be the September Monthly. Maybe next time someone sees him they could ask him about this? Maybe B has already talked to him, I don't know... B?

I have not spoken with Garrow. If things are like last year then no word of Choice City will happen until the week it is planned. I have been so busy with moving that I have not had time to make any plans for the monthly.

Choice City is one of the old-school tourneys in the area. I'm not sure how long its been happening, but last year it was announced only a week in advance and still drew more than 30 people from all over Colorado.
Traditionally it's been a showcase of our in town courses, but two years ago it was held in Redfeather as the first tournament at the course.
Chris Garrow runs it and does a great job of emphasizing the relaxed, fun aspect of disc golfing. I'm hoping he's into doing it again.
