Better plan on playing it as an AM unless your rating is 970+. Figures they'd do this to my favorite yearly tourney! BOOOO!!!

Yeah what? I'm sure those are just helpful guidelines. Isn't it called "Open" because it is "open" to anyone?
I'm planning on going! I'm down to go in on a place. ED says there are sweet places on the mountain looking out at the slopes. That sounds ideal to me.

yeah, KC, I know we discussed this earlier tonight, but after viewing the website, I don't think that is the case. It appears they listed the rating tiers like they are listed with the PDGA, they just forgot to take out the 'required' part on the open division. It does look confusing on their website, but 2 players under 970 are already registered for the tournament according to the PDGA site, so I am pretty sure it is open to all ratings (which do not accurately measure skill IMO, but that would be a TTD )

In that case, I'm in on the room. Nobody make any calls yet. I need to talk to Pete to see how he hooked up the spot last year. It was hugely pimpin
Thank goodness... Whew!

So I sent in my registration. Cant wait!!!!!!!!!! ;D
This tourney is the bomb. All who can make it should go, you won't be disappointed. Every year, at this tourney, I think to myself, "Where are all the other NoCo guys? How can they miss this spectacular time in this beautiful valley?" Hint hint.
Also going to play Snow mountain the week before, and may head straight out to Utah from there. If this sound like fun to anyone, let me know and we can split gas, etc.
