Talked with quite a few of the regular, non-advanced / pro players out there at Edora the last few days and they unanimously enjoy the present positions of the baskets. Sure, those positions are not very challenging for most of the NOCO members, but we are in the minority. Here's hoping you advanced / pro players will consider leaving them as they are for a while. Kudos to whoever moved them there.

what are you talking about? edora?
while we're on that subject (kind of/maybe) i say make it a pay to play on weekends. even a couple bucks would thin out the fraternities/jobless. it was so crowded today i took a lunch break to outfit a couple of my discs with sharp metal edges.

Yeah, Edora's basket positions is what I'm talking about.
Hopefully there will never be pay to play at Edora. But nominal fees at other locations I could agree to.

I definitely agree with keeping them where they are for a little bit longer. However, I don't know what you mean by an easy layout, I've been blowing up since it's been changed. Before the change I beat my personal record and scored a -9. After Erick and myself moved them, I've scored a -3 and a +5(ouch!!!). So yeah, let's leave them there until I get over this cold and hopefully can shoot a better round ;o)

The holes are shorter but that does not always mean easier. On many of the shorter positions you need to have a fairly precision shot to get in easy birdie range.
This is one of the things I like about Edora...we can change the basket locations and change the way most people approach the game and make you use other disc or the way you work them.

Pete, that was Jeff Schleich "originalcracker" who said he was blowing up. I on the other hand... oh wait, excluding last Tuesday, that's been me too. Nevermind! As much as I like shooting hot rounds way under "par", I'd always much rather be way over par on some difficult holes! That's always my personal preference, but I think the shorter layout is great for the less experienced players to taste some two's. Just keeping some movement on the longer holes is the best thing.

oops, sorry. don't know how i confused you two :? especially since you just shot a ridiculously hot round on tuesday. i definitely agree though...i would prefer to be mentally challenged rather than just trying to park every hole and letting my score reflect how well i was putting on any given day.
