I've been thinking about this since first playing Boltz. I don't know the exact story behind the course at Boltz, but it seems clear that there were donors who got their names stamped/memorialized on baskets. Now, not only is it really classy to have the numbers on top of baskets, but it leaves a really good community feel to see donors memorialized. Unfortunately, the course is now incomplete with numbers. This leaves it looking in a state of disrepair, but more so, makes one wonder how the donors feel. If the donor were me, I'd be pretty encouraged if the numbers and names went back up. Is there a way the club could facilitate this? I know there will be debate on who pays for it, but the bottom line is that if we can MAKE it happen, it will have an impact.
While we're at it, numbers at Edora would be classy. The could even have a note about what disc golf is (and maybe even a nocodiscgolf logo).

I'd call Bill and ask him who is in charge of the course @ Boltz. It might be Parks and Rec? Then I'd get permission to change the #s I have keys to most of the locks there so if we needed to take some baskets down to fix the dimes we can. As far as Epic we can change the #s if we like and at one point we didn't have #s on all holes thats my wicked spray paint job by the way. I know some dimes have been stolen its a real pain to re weld them on. I have new plastic for tee box signs I just haven enough time in the day to fix them.

I was thinking the dime was part of a sleeve that slipped onto the post. Is it just welded right onto the rest of the basket? Kind of keeps the upgrade option unrealistic. I wonder if there's a way to put the dimes on with sheet metal screws or something else creative like that, keeping out the need for a welder. One could envision something like a lollipop (dime on top, metal bracket underneath to attach to post). Has anyone seen anything on other courses/in other regions?
