Thanks...I was hoping that Kiss the Sky would be in this ratings update...that would of helped me, Evan, Brandon, and you a quite a bit. Its only two rounds but we all played well there.
Also Congrats to Brummer...985...tenth highest rated player in the state and highest in the Fort Collins currently!!

and after checking, once again I have to knock the ratings, there is no way Paco short is showing greater than 10 pts/stroke and Pessimist is less than 10pts/stroke ? best we have, huh? blah.

Yeah the ratings are BS... the wack stuff they were doing with the ratings at Worlds is an example of that... that and the fact that I still have a lower rating than other Colorado golfers that I've beat at almost every tournament this year.

Thats why need a rating that starts on the 1st of the year and ends the last day of the year and in addition have a career rating. Just like every other sport in the world!!! Then that would directly reflect how you were playing this year...I know that I am playing 990 golf this year but b/c our ratings include everything from August and on from last year my rating reflects those bad rounds. I am talking to some guy in NC about creating a different rating system that reflects this and is updated every month on the same day instead of every 3 or 4. Input is appreciated

Yeah! Moved up a bit.
New ratings are out, if you didn't know. I didn't remember till now.
I wish my freakin 895 round from Johnny last year would disappear! On the bright side, I went from that, to a couple 1000 rated rounds at the same tourney this year. Never shot one of those before this year!
Hope everyone improved and is happy with their new ratings.

Somehow, even after the horrible showing @jrm I moved up something like 8 pts? What's up with the rating system, it seems kinda wierd to me? I've read the explanation for how it's done, but I don't understand how I went higher in my rating. I guess JRM wasn't as bad as I thought, but I know I had below a 900 round that first round, I figured that would kill me. Don't get me wrong, I like the fact that I moved up, but it just doesn't make sense to me. Way to go Evan, KC, Ocho and Pat next year you guys will be moving up to 1000+!!

What's up with the rating system, it seems kinda wierd to me? I've read the explanation for how it's done, but I don't understand how I went higher in my rating. You had a 925 rating, and if you add all four rounds (one of which was a 975... that's pretty hot) then divide them by four, you get the average of all the rounds which was about 936. So, for the tourney you shot more than ten points better than your rating. Your rating is low for your skill level. I bet you'll keep seeing it going up unexpectedly for a while. Just saw JMart's huge jump. Sick!

How come that Ken Climo guy has such a higher rating than you fellas? I never see him around Edora. I'll bet he doesn't even come out to leagues!
