Chris Garrow is brainstorming details for this annual local tourney. It will likely occur soon, with short notice, most likely the last weekend of this month. He is leaning toward doing it on Sunday the 30th, since it won't conflict with any other tourney's in the state.
This will probably draw mostly local hardcores, due to the short notice and likelyhood of many holes per day. It sounds like he wants to return to the original format of a sort of DG marathon around the Fort. The first year it was held it was 52 holes in one day, with 4-5 different locations, finishing at New Belgium for some beers and putting around on a basket there.
He is asking for feedback on this forum to see what courses, safari setups, etc. people would like to play. He said he's open to planting a complete nine-holer for the day somewhere DG doesn't exist in town currently.
Responding here is probably the best, so some discussion can occur amongst everyone. You can also email him with ideas if you like, his email is: garrows@aol.com
What would you like to see your tourney be like, FC?

Since it will likely be just local blasters (or at least a limited turnout) maybe we could do Rist Canyon. I have know idea if anyone knows how to get in touch with Nelson. We should most definitely talk to him first. There's a good chance the property has been sold.

Unfortunately, I'm on meds and in&out of the hospital through Monday. Bummer, I was totally stoked to play. Maybe I'll get to come by and "watch" for a little bit. -Michael 2e

I've got the kid on Sunday, so I'm out ;D ;D! Maybe I'll try to get out there and get some photos for the website. I'll have to see if Tavi will let me . If I don't get out there good luck to all and have a good time.

Do you have a metal portable basket?
Chris Garrow (Choice City TD) is on the hunt for some full size, regulation baskets to set up extra holes for the tournament.
If you do, and can let him borrow it for the day, post a reply here and I'll let him know or email him directly at Garrows@aol.com.

KC I have a double chained DISCatcher Sport you guys can use. I, unfortunately have to work on Sunday. I would like to add course #74 to my list, but it will have to wait. PM me or get my cell # from someone. Hopefully I can help out.
