Stellar turn-out for Week 1; 50 players came out for a windy round. KC Terry took everyone to school with a 47, the hot round of the night. Congrats to him. Week 1 Stats can be found here: docs.google.com/file/d/0B49YomKzPACrNVF1M0R1VHN1Tkk/edit?usp=sharingSide note: With my awesome grip-locked anhyzer on #3, I lost a Champion Stingray with a custom Green Lantern dye-job in the shrubbery (we think). My name's on it w/ phone # if anyone comes across it or sees someone throwing it, I'd like very much for it to be returned.

40 players came out to play a tweaked Edora layout. It was 2-timer night as KC Terry captured his 2nd Open win this season by shooting a 48, which was the lowest round for the evening. Trent Tracy also seized his 2nd victory this summer with a 49 in the Advanced Amateur division. Tom Ohlschwager grabbed his 2nd win in Open Masters and Ron Brown won his 2nd week, narrowly beating Gage Buckethal in an Intermediate playoff. Look for more fun modified layouts in the weeks to come. Ace pool is up to $88. Hope to see you at Week 4. Week 3 stats: docs.google.com/file/d/0B49YomKzPACrNDlEV0lJNHZZQXM/edit?usp=sharing

44 players enjoyed perfect weather at Edora Park for Week 4. Gramma Brummet came out to show us he still has "it", shooting the lowest round of the summer thus far, a 45. There was a 3-way tie in Open Masters as Tom O, Vinnie Castillo, and Wayne Bonham all carded 53's. John Triants and Reid McConnell recorded their season bests, 49, to tie in the Advanced Amateur Division. Ron Brown continued his dominance in the Intermediate Division and shot 56 to win his 3rd consecutive week. Divisions are starting to take shape and the ace pool is up to $100. We had 43 players come out this past Tuesday at Edora. A couple of double-mando's popped up on the course but didn't seem to slow down the field. Kc Terry and Dan Buettgenbach both shot 47's to tie for the Open win. Shawn Aschliman grabbed his 1st win in Open Masters with a 52. Gary Martin took 1st in Advanced with a 52 and Ron Brown won the Intermediate division with a 59. Ace pool pays $100. More surprises to come in week 6... 42 players came out play a difficult Edora layout on Tuesday evening. Two island greens were in play as well as a couple of safari holes and Old #1's deepest pin placement. Luis Yanez took home his 1st Advanced win this year with a solid 55. Vinnie Castillo shot even par to grab another win in Open Masters. The Condor, Dan-B, has regained top form to capture his 2nd Open win in as many weeks with a 48. Divisions are shaping up with plenty of time for moves to be made. Ace pool is paying $100 per week. Look for some old holes of the past to be included in Week 7's layout. Week 6 stats/scores: docs.google.com/file/d/0B49YomKzPACrWU5kZlBDcUd2S2M/edit?usp=sharing

Tuesday evening, 45 players came out to play an Edora layout from the past. Old #2, #3, and #11 were in play as well as the safari hole #14 to #15's pin. An unfamiliar layout paired with a familiar wind, made for higher than average scores. Ron Brown and Christian Klevdal tied for the win in the Intermediate Division with 62's. Newcomer Nick Vorrath shot 55 to take home his 1st Advanced Division win. Wayne Bonham carded a solid 53 to continue his Open Masters dominance and Chris Brubeck grabbed the win in the Open Division with the hot round of the night, a 49. Also, this Tuesday, each divisional winner scored a DiscMania disc, courtesy of Austin Montgomery. Congrats to Dylan O'Malia on acing Old #11, with a hyzer over the water, and taking home $100. Ryan Haunfelder scored a trio of Gateway discs for his effort on the CTP hole, #18. Look for many CTP prizes in the weeks to come as Gateway has generously donated quite a bit of plastic (Thank you, Dominic of Gateway!). The ace pool is still paying $100/wk. Only 37 players came out this week to find just a couple of changes in the normal course lay-out. We played Old #3 on the mound and the safari hole, #17's tee to #18's pin. In intermediate, Ron Brown took home 1st with an even-par round. Reid McConnell & Nick Vorrath tied for the win in Advanced with 51's. Jep Ballmer posted a 51 as well to take home the Open Masters' win. , Tyler Liebman, & Dan Buettgenbach all shot 47's to tie for the Open win. The Ace pool still pays $100/wk and still plenty of CTP give-aways in the weeks to come. There are still 4 more weeks to factor in to season standings, so don't miss week 9. 40 players this Tuesday for Week 9. There were no surprises on the course this week, except maybe that most of the pins were in their shortest placements. Short pins = low scores and a birdie-fest it was. Reid McConnell took home another win with a 47, as he continues to dominate the Advanced Amateur division. Jep Ballmer & Vinnie Castillo tied for the Open Masters win with dual 45's. Austin Montgomery had the low round of the evening/season with a 42 and scored his 1st win this summer in the Open Division. In addition to his win, Austin also bagged the CTP on #8; nice shootin', Austin. The Ace pool is still paying out $100/wk and we're giving away 4 CTP discs each week. Come on out for week 10. Week 9 scores/stats: docs.google.com/file/d/0B49YomKzPACreXFfOU5NOEs2N1U/edit?usp=sharing*if you have played 9 weeks so far, your lowest weekly point total has been dropped. The best 8 of 12 weekly point totals will be factored into determining the final season standings.

43 competitors for Week 10. This Tuesday, players were challenged with a double-mando on #8 with an alternate street tee, an alternate tee for #6's short pin, Old #3 in the middle placement, and the safari hole #17 to #18's short pin. Newcomer Jeff Wysserbach shot a 57 to win his first week in the Intermediate division. Christian Kozlowski, carding a 49, took down the win in the Advanced Division in his only appearance this summer. In addition to his Adv win, Christian also bagged the CTP on #6. Shawn Aschliman claimed his 2nd win in Open Masters with a 48 and Chris Brubeck tied the season low score of 42 to win the Open Division. Cain Blackwell scored a CTP disc after the round too. Nice shootin', fellas. Still time to make a run for the podium in every division and the ace pool is paying $100/wk. Come blast with us for Week 11. Just 30 players and a normal course layout for Week 11. Eli Rawlings set his personal -best at Edora with a 43 to take his 1st win in the Advanced Division. Wayne Bonham shot 47 in Open Masters for another win. Chris Brubeck lit up the course, tying the Edora course record and setting the season low round with a score of 40, to take down his 2nd Open win in as many weeks. We also had 2 aces as Danny Burdick bagged #11 and Tyler Liebman called his ace on the island hole, #16. Kenny Fleming scored a Gateway disc for his effort on the CTP hole, #18 and Jim Douglas won the CTP after the round. Good shootin', men. Week 12 is the Handicap round where all of the divisions will be paid as one field (with the handicap). Week 12 is also the last week to factor into season standings (without the handicap).
