So I am somewhat new to the sport and trying to find people around that play a lot. I am just looking for chill people who have a blast playing. I want to play league to but idk how to find info about that. Any help would be awesome!

There are others who know more than I do about league, but as a recent new-comer myself, I thought my perceptions might be useful: There are several leagues throughout the year - summer league is wrapping up about now (1 more week, maybe?), but fall league will probably be starting soon. Watch the 'Tag Challenges and Matches' thread on the forum for updates, and browse back through the history of that thread to see how various leagues were run previously. Typically, leagues start between 5pm and 6pm on Tuesday evenings at Edora (exact start time varies with time of year, daylight savings, etc.). Good idea to get there early so you can warm up, chat with other players, introduce yourself to Chad - he's the guy sitting at the table taking money and writing down all sorts of complicated details about you in his league-stats book Bring 5 singles or a $5bill if possible, although change may be available for $10s or $20s. Once you've paid (and handed in your tag(s) if you have any), feel free to mosey about, sit in the grass, practice putting at the putter basket, but stay within earshot. At the designated start time, Chad will holler 'bring it in' and then proceed to call out names of players and the hole they're starting on - leagues are done with a shotgun start to minimize waiting, so your group (typically 3 to 5 players) will start at a random hole rather than always at hole 1. From there on, your best bet is to ask questions of others in your group if you're not sure about anything. In my experience, most groups are chill, relaxed, and helpful. Good luck and have fun! -Phil
