Well the redesign happened at 8:00am today.. I passed out maps and talked to people for 6 1\2 hours today, and it looks like people are getting the new layout.. There are maps on New hole #1 (old hole 4) and at hole #14 (old hole 1). The city, having total control of our course have decided not to allow us in the grassy old BMX area. (even though there are two collars in the ground) That parking lot is still going to be used. I think we will use old hole #3's pins for practice once people understand that the hole is gone. We don't want you practicing and get hit in the head.. Thanks, Bruce ;D

And just a side note. For our first weekend with the new layout. Our new parking lot (old BMX) will be resurfaced. That means we will have to park up at Epic and walk down. They are starting work on Saturday. I have yet to hear when it will be completed and we can park there again. Thanks to all who have come out and played the new layout. The comments have been very positive. The flow seems to work well. Less walking and more disc golfing..

Well it looks like the new layout is working well. I have given out 300 maps.. I think people will learn it soon. It might just take a while to get the new numbering system down.. ;D

OK everyone, The practice basket is in old hole #3's long pin.. We are going to try this out and see. There are still a few lost souls that are playing old hole 3. Even with the tee pad gone and the thee post gone and now over 400 maps in circulation. If you see people playing this hole please let them know that it is no longer played. I will be posting signs that say the same.. Thanks for all your support and kind words.. Long live disc golf at Edora park!!

Love the new layout - works out really well.
Also this thread makes me laugh because it is like you are talking to yourself.
Thanks for being out on the course so much making this transition smooth.

Thanks for the kind words.. It's nice to have a forum so I can type things to myself so I don't forget I told myself.. ;D I think things are going well. The Wrightlife now has score cards with maps on them. The E.P.I.C center also has maps and there are maps online here, there, and everywhere..
