They're ready and waiting to start circulating. I'll have memberships at the Cabin Fever this weekend, and you can also get in touch with me beforehand if you want one sooner.
You gonna make it out on Sunday, Jeff?

I'm assuming someone will have tags available Sunday at Birdie Love? Mitch and I are planning to head up for it.

We should set up a tag match for the end of the year, Mile High vs NoCO. If nothing else, at least see if we can get the #1's to go head to head. It'd be fun to get the top 10 for both and go 1 vs 1, 2vs 2 and so on and so forth.

that would be a great time....some folks set up a team format similar to that for our Super Bowl scramble-- it would be pretty easy to do that for NoCo vs. Mile High. Or even better have the final tag match for both NoCo and Mile High together on the same day for 08'. That would even be a sweet PDGA event...the winner gets both #1's to end the year

Maybe we could set up a friendly Team Challenge sometime this year when there's a lack of sanctioned events in the area. Get maybe the top 6 (rated or chosen) players from each club and do team competiton head to head battles, like at the VTI (Virginia Team Invitational). Or send a few different teams of some determined amount of people each. We could do it in a number of ways: 1 team each just pro, 1 team each just advanced, 1 team each intermediate and have at least 1 woman on each team (if applicable). We could do tag vs tag but then we run into the issue if, say, NoCO shows up with 1-10 and Mile High shows up with 1, 3, 10, 25, 36 and so on and so forth. Thoughts? (We could make some sort of travelling tropy, and while we're at it, invite all CO clubs to join (Badco, Foothills Flyers etc.))

TTD (Total Thread Deviation) There used to be a Colorado Team Cup tournament every year held at Tim Anderson's private course in Beulah, CO. It was always a good size event, and I think there was actually a traveling trophy. Each team consisted of like 2 Open, 1 Masters, 1 advanced, and 1 woman... or something like that. The teams were region/city based (like a Ft C team, a Denver team, etc.) although sometimes there were multiple teams from the same city. It was 3 rounds (2 days) and it was match play (open player vs open player, etc) You'd play in foursomes, and play each person on your card for a 6-hole stretch. This was always one of the most fun tournaments every year... but then I guess Tim Anderson stopped playing disc golf or something and that was that. It was also a fun tournament because everyone camped out on his property. There was always glow golf and campfires on Saturday night, as well as an additional singles round of $1 mulligans that took place after the third round of the team tourney. I once spent like $13 bucks just to make a 25-foot putt, while Schiller stood by and heckled me! I've talked about maybe trying to run this event again someday. It would be best if we had a somewhat private course to use for it, because it's a perfect type of tournament for camping and stuff like that. Sundance (redfeather) would be great option, if we could get them to let us do it there. If there is sufficient interest in this kind of thing, I would be willing to organize and run the event. Anyway... yeah team stuff and match-play are always alot of fun! - Gramma

Good idea gramma with Red Feathers. That's a PERFECT course to test everyone's true skill and would be a great setting for a team challenge. Maybe you and I could work on this, get good ideas good, good crew, funraise, and set it up for the summer of 2009??
