Just browsing around for NoCo disc golf clubs the other day, happened upon this one. Looking for someone who can give a few more details on the club and possibly hook me up with a bag tag. Checked with the Wright life yesterday while picking up a Roadrunner (for the 3rd time, love the disc but can't ever seem to keep track of it, ha) but they did not have any info. Played frolf before, but didn't become an obsession until about 3 years ago, been playing as often as I can ever since then (minus 7 months last year when I lived in Vermont). Definitely not a beginner, but I would by no means say I'm pro status at it. Mainly looking at Par 3 on most of Edora's holes, sometimes 4 sometimes birdie, just depends I guess. Pretty much looking for a good group of chill people who can play the game but have lots of fun doing it, then maybe grab a beer after . Friends don't have quite the addiction I do to the game, so it's hard to get a group together sometimes. Very open schedule, I work at home so it's fairly easy to duck out for a round or two. Look forward to hearing from someone! Thanks, Eric

Hey Eric, thanks for your interest in NoCO.
You should have been able to buy a membership at the Wright Life - as far as I know, they still have tags available. Along with a bag tag, your $25 dollar membership includes a $15 credit towards some plastic at the Wright Life. Unfortunately, whoever you talked to was ill-informed. Anyway, try stopping in there again.
Alternatively, you should be able to pick up a tag at our Tuesday night league at Edora. Our membership director is Peter Gray. He or one of the other club officers will be able to help you out.
This Tuesday, May 24 will be the first night of our official summer league, where points are tracked throughout the summer and prizes are awarded at the end in each division. It's a lot of fun. Signups are at 5:30, teeoff at 6pm. Tuesday leagues are run by Chad Johnson.
Also, we have Thursday night random draw doubles at Edora, run by me (Luc Hensley.) Starts at 5:30pm (signup around 5:15.) And there are a few other weekly matches around the area. Let us know if you have any more questions.
Hope to see you out there!

Think that covers it. I'll look for Chad on Tuesday.
Thanks

First Eric I would like to welcome you to the site. Second I would love to know who you spoke with at the Wrightlife. My name is Bruce and I'm the President of the NCDGC. If you have any other questions or concerns you may contact me directly at 970-624-9534. I'm always looking to play with new people, I hope we can play sometime. Thanks again for your interest. Bruce

Never got his name. Think he was trying to be as helpful as he could, just didn't know much about it. He did say that they had bag-tags, but I decided against it at the time just cause I didn't have much info about it. I'll be stopping in there tomorrow for sure now that I know.
Played Edora today, got rained after the 8th hole. Wasn't my greatest game anyways, after standing in water up to my knees on the 7th I decided to cut my losses. Got the disc back though... Good days and bad days I suppose.
Play Boltz a lot since it's nearest to my house. If anyone wants to throw a round or two any time this weekend throw me a call, 970-581-3387.

Hi, Eric -- if you play at Boltz quite often, feel free to come out on Monday nights @ 5:30 for our bag tag league. We just started it a few weeks ago and it has been lots of fun. It is a good course and I enjoy playing there as well. Hopefully I can meet up with you one of these times and we can play a round together. Garret

Are there any weekend leagues, tag matches, get togethers, etc.? I work in Denver and can't make it back up here in time to play in the evenings.

I don't know of any regular, weekend events going on right now. At one point we were doing a Sunday League and would travel to some of the other local courses within an hour or so's drive but that hasn't been happening this year. Also, during the winter we had a Sunday league going at Edora, but once the days got longer the Tuesday and Thursday events started up.
We are pretty open to people who might want to start up a new, regular event, so if you had any ideas for, say, an informal tag match on the weekends or something just let us know and we'll put it up on the site to let people know about it.
