Wondering what to do with that club tag between league nights? Come out to one of the weekly tag matches for some low pressure competition and fun. Unlike league or doubles, no money will be required to participate (except optional ace pool), just bring your 2010 NoCo tag to play for. Fun is the emphasis, so the format will be very loose, and there won't necessarily be a set person to running the show. The primary goal is to provide an opportunity for members to meet up, continue to play for their tags, and showcase some of our other great local courses. We will attempt to have someone out there with memberships (tags) for sale for those who need them. Weekly Tag Match Schedule - *Edited for* Summer 2010- Mondays 6:00p - Tags @ Oxbow in Windsor (24 holes)
- Tuesday 5:45p - League @ Edora (18 holes)
- Wednesdays 6:00p - Tags @ Boltz Junior High (18 holes)
- (Thursday doubles @ Edora, no tags)
- Fridays 6:00p - Tags @ Cache La Poudre Junior High (18 holes)
- Saturday - Traveling tags (18-36 holes)
- Sunday - Tags in Red Feather Lakes (18-36 holes)

We should get this going again. I feel like Windsor should be on the weekly schedule. I have Mondays free usually and would be willing to run a tag match at Windsor on Mondays. We should move the schedule around and take FCH off the schedule, since that course is currently in a state of limbo, at least until we figure out what to do with it. My 2 cents.

I agree, I'd love to see it happen.
Did you have some suggestions for different days and courses? Maybe anyone else who'd like to see certain courses played on certain nights can chime in and we can try to find which days work best for people.
Oxbow on Mondays works for my schedule, though, so count me in there.
Tuesdays should probably stay Edora, and I'm thinking doubles will probably continue to happen at Edora on Thursdays too.

I think we should move Thursday Doubles to Oxbow. Tuesday League is already at Edora... Why not have Doubles over there. It would be less crowded. We could probably play 24 holes of best-shot at Oxbow quicker than 18 at Edora. Seems redundant to have Dubs and League at Edora, now that we have another worthy course. That's my two cents.
We should start a weekly tag match schedule though. Get Boltz, CLP, Edora, & Oxbow all in the mix. Sundance too, once the weather warms up.

Tag match at Sundance this Sunday, 12PM. Course is looking good, only the snow drifts are still there, fairways mostly clear. Teepads are freshly shoveled. Bring some cash?

I'll plan on being there. Can't wait to blast Red Feather again! I probably won't play for cash, as I like to keep it casual with pure tag play. Not to mention gas isn't cheap and Red Feather would be a long bike ride.  But I'll gladly take whatever low tags may be present... Anyone else ready for some mountain golf? |

Hi Mike, I'm busy today, but could meet up with sometime to get you a tag. We'll have some out at Tuesday Night league at Edora, or just let me know if you want to meet up some other time.
No Red Feather today for me, the weather looks a little shady.

I wanted to run tags at Oxbow tonight, but I won't be able to b/c I must attend our monthly club meeting, so next week I'll be ready to run a tag match there. As always with tags, though, anybody can meet up and have a tag match. I would say that we should still start a little before 5:30 just b/c of daylight, maybe closer to 5:15, and we would be playing 24 holes.

I'll be at Oxbow (Windsor) at 5:30 for tags if anyone is wanting to play. I'm going to grab a few membership packages also, so if you want to join the club, this would be a good opportunity.
