Rumor has it it will open within a week, but it's been delayed once already. It will include the short and middle positions, with long placements going in later. I got to preview the course and let me tell you... you won't be disappointed.  Like Todd said, we still need something nearby to ease Edora's load, but I personally will spend as much time in Redfeather playing Sundance and Beaver Meadows as possible! |

It would be great if this opened up in a week or so and I would also spend much more time in Red Feather.
Will there be a post telling the club when the new course is open and directions for getting there etc?

Has anyone received an update regarding the new course? A few of us might camp there this coming weekend. I sent an email via their website asking a few questions but didn't hear back. Hopefully they're getting the last few baskets in before confirming with us! Thanks, Randy |

Beaver Meadows course is not open yet. I called last week and was told it would be open by the weekend. We dropped by Saturday morning and were told they were now hoping to have it open by the end of the month. The people were nice and the land looks like the course will be awesome!!! No hard feelings....we'll be back!!

You will have to let us know if the course does open and maybe we can get a bunch of the NOCO members together to shoot the new course.

thanks KC! I wish I had been there on Saturday when the paper was interviewing golfers. Some great quotes from Vinnie and others. We are doing our best to fight the closure. If anyone hasn't yet, please sign the change.org petition to keep Edora at 18 holes. |
