thanks for the info- i'll be picking up either a TL or a gateway inferno today. gateway's entire line looks really nice in general- the scream and wizard look pretty dope although the "turbo putt" should be banned on account of lameness imo. jeez like i need more discs anyway.
^uh, yea just a little censorship test. in real life i have a fairly clean vocab- this site is family oriented i guess, which is just fine.

that is the single longest post I have ever seen in my life...
besides the length... Evan made many good points that I have to remind myself often and anyone that is learning the game or trying to progress should take seriously. I can attest that the farthest drives I have ever thrown were with a Valkyrie or Flash...certainly not a Destroyer or a Wraith.

Did someone say something? I wasn't listening.

nope, just keep walking and don't make eye contact. and if it comes down to it, don't ever run, just drop and cover your ears.

The thing about over stable discs is you don't to be perfect. I think it gives you more room if your screw up the throw. The less stable a disc is the better or cleaner you have to throw it.

Old Vern was out today and sold a first run T-bird SE for 2 bucks to Devin. It was a sweet deal. It was a great day at the park.

That is a sweet deal! Those are great discs.
So while I'm already typing, and on this thread again, I was out throwing drives in a field yesterday, just emptying my bag over and over, and had some interesting results. Yes, the SE TL was up there with all the longest shots, of course, and the R-pro Boss had out-crushed all the other drivers by 18 ft. The funny thing was, the DX Kite was beyond all my other drivers by 6 ft, and short of the Boss only 12 ft! It might just be my throwing style, but I find it interesting how far a well thrown mid-range disc can fly sometimes.

It is because they have such good glide they are in the air a long time and straight. Fast disc are cutting in not flying forward. I did the same thing back in the day with MRV's when the Firebird first came out. The MRV was just short of my Firebird on hole 6 edora.
