I was driving by City Park nine the other day and realized that there could be a great disc course in the trees right off the fairways. I know there are currently many Fly 18 courses around the country where you can play ball and disc golf at the same time and the company I believe even helps you present the idea to the course owners, or the city and will even install the course. I know its not ideal but with the lack of land that the city has for a full eighteen this idea might interest them. It would also bring the city more revenue in the long run. Just a thought

I actually brought that up at a city meeting that was held many moons ago. Didn't really get much of a response from others on what they thought. I think Ball Golf OB makes great disc golf fairways!! I say speak to the higher ups and get that going. Let me know if I can help, and good luck!!

How safe would the ballers be from getting hit by discs and how safe would the hippies be from getting killed by balls? Just thinking out loud. If it ever works with my schedule, I'd be happy to throw around and show how the erratic and inconsistent player might impact the potential course.

Love it!
I think it's an option we should definitely explore, and one that crosses my mind every time I pass by the City Park Nine.
Would someone like to email or call the Fly 18 people and bring some info to the next club meeting? No date set yet...
