I just played a couple events in Nebraska and the 2 courses I played were super good!
First, the course in McCook was awesome. A lot of elevation change, trees, in a beautiful grassy park setting. It reminded me a little bit of some of the Kansas City courses, like Waterworks and Swope. This course should be even better once they finish putting in the B pin placements!
Second, Cottonmill Park in Kearney is one of my new favorite courses! It's in this beautiful forest preserve area, with a ton of elevation, trees, lake shots, tunnel shots. The rough is thick if you get off the fairways and into the woods... but good shots are rewarded with birdy ops. This course is a "must play" if you are ever traveling past Kearney on I-80.
There's nothing better than playing great new courses in new places!
