Recently I was in Tallahassee and played their two public courses. The first was Jack McClain park. This course makes Frisco Pennisula Course look like CLP!! Absolutely insane alleyways about 20-40 feet wide and up to 500 feet long(Par 3). As the locals there say, I got "Jacked" at Jack McClain, so bad that I stopped counting at 15 up(12holes into it). This is the type of course I would love to see out here. The second course was Tom Brown Park. This course is very similar to Edora. The first 5 or 6 holes are in the woods and then you hit the wide open Edora-like holes. There are about 6 alt. holes that take you back in the woods and back out to the open fields. All in all, great course with nice elevation changes. They also have two private courses on one huge plot of land up in the northern area that I haven't seen or played yet. Perhaps next time around. ;D ;D ;D
