I like the idea of rotating the courses, I think Edora should still be part of the Sunday equation, but FCHS could be thrown in the mix about half the time, I don't care too much for CLP and don't feel it is a very competitive course, so using that course sounds unappealing, Boltz would be a better option, but I say we try splitting Sundays btw Edora and FCHS at first. Tuesdays should stay at Edora, and with the Summer league numbers, we pretty much take over the course so crowding isn't as much a problem. Thursday doubles at FCHS sound cool too, maybe we could play singles on sunday at one and then doubles at the other on thursday, so both courses get used each week and then alternate the next week.
We could even take leagues to Red Feather once a month or so, like tomorrow...

I really do like the idea of rotating Sunday league to a different course each week, the only hesitation I would have is the issue of new players who don't already know everyone. I wouldn't want us to make it impossible to find the club and figure out where to go on a given day for leagues. We need to be as inclusive of the general disc golf public as possible.
I think it could work if we committed to a solid schedule and stuck to it. Then it could be posted at Wright Life, the courses, and on the website. People need to be able to remember, "Third Sunday of the month is at Boltz" or something. Otherwise, in my mind we'll have less people showing up than we'd normally have.
I definitely think it would be a good idea to take league up to Sundance sometimes.

I totally agree with KC on the whole set schedule thing. Any course shifting is going to complicate things regardless, but you want to make it all as clear as possible. Sundance is good for Sunday league too because that's not really an option for most people during the week.

well then, lets agree on a schedule and put it into effect for next month and see how it goes, a few weeks should be enough time to get word out if we post at the course and wright life.

Sweet. So what courses should we have in the rotation?
Do we even want Edora in the rotation, since part of the reason to move leagues at all is to avoid the "Edora zoo"? We will still have Edora every week on Tuesdays.
If we move away from Edora completely, we could just have Sunday's alternate between FCHS and Boltz (with the option to zip up to redfeather occasionally). I don't know if we should be playing leagues at CLP, its pretty short.
What do you all think?

We had a small but talented turnout Thursday for Doubles at FCHS. The safari layout for the back-9 was pretty fun! Thanks to J-Martin for lending me his basket to make up for the missing one! I can get that back to you anytime Jeff. Hope to see more people out there next week! Doubles is the best!

FCHS leagues sounds awesome. I can't wait until finals are done so I can join you all. Good luck to all on the Grateful Disc this weekend.
