Can you simply show up at Sundance to play or do you need to inform them prior? Has anyone been to Sundance this year, if so is it very muddy etc?

I was up there a week or two ago. It wasn't muddy except in a few places, but there were still some sizable snow drifts. Nothing that would ruin a good time, that's for sure...

Great job to everyone for the warm up tourney!! What does everyone think about starting the monthlies earlier and finishing earlier (8 to 5 instead of 10 to 7ish)

Great shootin' Rocky, heard you took advanced!!! Also heard that the field was about 40 deep, that's HUGE!!! Man, hangin' till 7ish sounds tough. Gotta get these monthlies moving on time a little better, it sounds like. It has to be tough driving back to Denver at 7 or 8, after playing 2 rounds. Glad to hear these monthlies are getting such a strong turnout. Wish I could play at these, they sound like a blast (no pun intended). Oh yea, who took 1st in Open?

So who won Open? I'm pretty sure I can't play Grateful either, still can't really...I'll be back out at some point, just doesn't look like that point will be any time soon.

Dan "Condor" Buettgenbach and Zak Martin tied for 1st (combined total for the day (+6), w/ DB taking it after a 6-hole playoff. Jeff Layland finished 3rd (+?), and KC and I tied for 4th (+9). Don't remember after that... As for the earlier start....what's worse? getting up at 5am (in Denver) to get up here by 7am or so to warm/sign up? OR getting home around 7 or 8pm? I'll take the latter. Starting earlier will greatly diminish the numbers, at least in the younger divisions. College kids party Sat nights, and don't worry 'bout getting up the next day. They make up the majority of the AM division....you might lose a couple pro's too . It's no different when we NOCOers play in Denver, or in Winter Park, or in Pueblo, or in Ft. Morgan....etc,etc,etc....comes w/ the territory. Sorry to hear that you won't be joining us, Mitch. I always look forward to playing w/ you @ the Grateful. I think we've been on the same card at least a round or two for the last couple of years. NO BEES this year!! Since you can't play, wanna be my caddy? Job pays a sixer per 18, must be drank by the end of the round though.

I didn't realize that it took 3 hrs to get to Fort Collins or Redfeather ;D. I had just heard several people say that these have been running pretty late, and I'm sure several, if not a majority, have school or work early the next day. Again,I guess the question is, which is worse?
Thanks for the update on scores for the Open div.
