Wanted to go out today, but never made it. I hope to play the new course soon...especially before summer. I suspect that location will be infested with rattle snakes come warmer weather. Garret That is funny, but true, I am sure that the choice of this site will be under review soon enough.

What about the unused land on the West side of railroad tracks heading south?
What are the Park and Recs. concerns that has lead them to decide to close 9 holes at Edora? 1- Over crowding 2- Safety 3- Complaints
What other concerns aren't listed above? How are we going to address these concerns?
1- To address overcrowding concern, we need to add more holes to existing courses and adding new courses of comparable levels. The Hugh stadium course is not comparable course to Edora. However, the Hugh Stadium course is a good step towards helping relieving the supply and demand required, as long as Edora maintains 18 holes. 2- Our club could hold disc golf etiquette and safety meetings to help educate the general public. This would help address safety concerns. 3- As far complaints, I am not sure of the specifics. The top 3 most frequent complaints could be address during disc golf etiquette discussions.
The main point of this is our club is willing to volunteer help address these concerns. We need to create a plan that is compelling and addresses their concerns.
To be honest, I think some of club members are some of the worst offenders. We think we own the course, and everyone else needs to get out of our way. If we are more consider to the general public not playing disc golf at Edora, then this could help change the image of disc golf in FOCO.

Good stuff. Worth a watch. We need to make sure we do a follow up. So that their lack of communication with us does not get swept under the rug and forgotten.
